Things that went wrong with my animation

• I thought my animation went on a bit too long.
• No movement in characters
• Mouths didn't stay inline with the models as they moved to much - out of sink
• You can see the wire i used to hold lord farquaad up, in the photos
• Quiet Background sound could be used to lighting up the mood
• Use a more creative background
• Use the real masked man and guards
• Could have a better use of transitions
• Wallace and gromits models are to a professional standards and are smooth and slick whereas mine a more rough and ragid

this is my final movie i think that it is good but the pictures could of blended together and the mouth would of been better if the mouth was filmed still. i think that it would have looked better if the masked man dunking the gingerbread in milk was a video film instead of a photo.

This is my final animation but it needs slight changes as the title goes on for too long and i need to changes the setting because the models heads do not fit on

Today i finished my animation but i still need to add a title and credits. This means i need to change my file to a m4v file in order to get it into i movie where the title and credits can be added

Today i have worked on final cut pro and combined the mouths with lord farquaad and the gingerbread man together, these two models are now finished off i just need to do the masked man and i will have completed my animation so this is what i will do next time along with my evaluation. The masked man does not need the mouth putting on as he has a mask but does need a voice.

Today i got new videos as i could not use the ones i took last time because there was to much head movement. Hopefully i should get most of my animation done today. I filmed the mouth on my own digital camera and loaded it into Final Cut Pro.

Today i made my new masked man because someone destroyed my first one. I filmed james mouth talking on my own digital camera to start putting them on my models but he moved his head to much so i could not use my footage and will have to start again. I noticed the head moved too much when i loaded the videos on to Final Cut Pro and cropped the head so it was only visible to see the mouth, the mouth kept moving out of the line where i had cropped so i knew i had to do it again.

My Targets
Today i will try and get the mouths for my models by filming a class mates mouth.

i made this character after reading there was a masked man in the script so this will be my masked man i will use that dunks my gingerbread man in the milk















i was going to buy an edible gingerbread man but i could not find one small enough so i made my own with gum drop buttons and red eyes

today i tried to find out to make the real mouth and put them on my models i made, i found out how to do this on this website.

i then found the part of the script i need for my own animation with lord farquaad and the gingerbread man talking. in this script i found that i need a masked man.

today i finished off making lord farquaad and making him 3d, this is how he looks now, i need to just need make the gingerbread man now and i am then ready to start my animation

this is how lord farquaad looks up to now, i still need to make his hat and boots and make the body 3D. lord farquaad does not have a mouth as he will have a real mouth talking like the annoying orange.

today i have modelled lord farquaads head and boddy this took quite a long time to do and i had help off abbie and david as abbie shaped the head for me and david modeled the upper part of the body for me.

this afternoon i thought of a different idea which is a scene from shrek with the gingerbread man and lord farquad. i done my storyboard which was three pages long and i modeled a background for my animation using clay but i did not keep it as i thought it was not big enough as the gingerbread man and lord farquadd will be to big. i have asked david if he will do the voices of the characters for me.

This is another idea i had for stop motion.

i like this animation because they have real eyes and mouth

which makes it more interesting to watch. My idea is to put

a real mouth on a plasticine model as i like both animation

and therefore with two good animations, my animation

should be good.

This is my first idea, to make a smiley face using plasticine with a grin getting bigger being really happy then a ball comes a long and kills him. i thought of this idea because it was simple and really easy to do because of this i thought i had to change it to something abit more adventurers and creative in order to get better marks

Wallace and Gromit helped me think of what do for my own animation as i liked the plasticine effect. Wallace and gromit is a popular animation and is really effective because of the use of plasticine, i think model based animation will be easier if i was to make them in plasticine this is because they are easier to move because they bend whereas if i was to use lego or something similar they are stiff characters and dont move as easy
